NEED AN ADDRESS? 

Having a valid 911 address could mean the difference between life and death in an emergency. First responders rely on valid addresses to respond to you in an emergency. Using a Google or Apple "pin" as an address is not a valid 911 address and could lead to delays in response. See the steps below to learn how to get a valid 911 address.

GATHER YOUR INFORMATION

  • Current name on the deed

  • Closest address to the property

  • GPS coordinates (if possible)

COMPLETE ADDRESS REQUEST APPLICATION

Application can be found HERE or can be picked up at the Greenup County Public Safety Center.

WAIT FOR A CALL BACK

The 911 Addressing and Mapping Department will contact you if further information is needed or to schedule a site visit to obtain GPS information.
